Small Watch Movements

Watches come in all shapes and sizes, and thus so must their insides. In the 20th century, the fashion for ladies’ cocktail watches drove the development of smaller and smaller watch movements, with LeCoultre and Omega being known for particularly small cocktails watches. There were also companies such as Piaget striving to develop thinner and thinner movements.
