Omega 321 Chronograph Watch Movement

At Harris Horology we have a wide and varied experience in repairing and servicing vintage Omega watches. You have to be very careful who you trust with a vintage watch, where originality and careful consideration of any work done is critical. We draw on our museum experience and practice when working on watches with history to ensure they keep as much of their character and charm as possible. James was an Omega Boutique Watchmaker in the past, and there’s not much we haven’t seen before.

Vintage Omega Chronometer Serviced and Repaired at Harris Horology

Our primary focus as a business is vintage watch repair so we have the skills and equipment required to properly care for older movements which are more delicate or complex than their modern descendants. A large percentage of our work is on heirloom watches - those inherited from an earlier generation, and we work hard to bring them back to life while keeping the object's soul intact. Though there will always be room for discussion, our recommendation is for no visual changes or no polishing of cases, just the watch working as it used to decades ago. If you have a vintage Omega and have ever been told that it isn’t worth repairing or that parts aren’t available, look no further. We also have an average turnaround of 6-8 weeks, rather than several months or years that you might find elsewhere. Don’t just look for ‘watch repair near me’, look for watch repair from someone who cares, and you can trust. You can read more about our watch repair here.

We specialise in sourcing obsolete parts and servicing iconic vintage Omega movements, including the Calibre 321 chronograph, early 354 bumper automatics, and the Calibre stalwart and classic Calibre 565.

Don’t just take our word for it, trust our fantastic clients: these quotes are taken from our google reviews:

I found James after looking for ages for someone to service my watches. I’d resolved to never visit a high street jewellers again following a disaster with one of my pieces. I visited James who instilled great confidence from the start. So far he’s serviced an Omega Seamaster and a Rolex Submariner and both are running fantastically. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Harris Horology.

My 1961 vintage Omega constellation was serviced by James recently. A visit to his immaculate workshop gave me the confidence that he will treat the delicate interior of my watch like he looks after his work place. The watch now looks brand new and running super accurately even after more than a month. I have not had to adjust the time once in that time. Thank you James and also your generous advice.

James has taken on a full refurbishment of my dad’s 1966 Omega seamaster 300 165.024. The watch was in bad shape: water ingress, snapped crown, movement not running. James restored the watch changing only the shaft and the spring and otherwise preserving all the original parts and completey ovehauled the movement: the watch now runs like a very nicely maintained 60 yrs old watch with a lot of character, and it is a joy to wear. James comes across as a very competent no non-sense old school craftsman, like there are few around nowadays, I really enjoyed the overall experience, I would not hesitate to use his services again. Highly recommended.

I inherited my grandfather’s 1954 Omega automatic watch in 1967. It recently stopped working. I contacted Omega in Switzerland who said they could not repair or restore the piece. I chanced upon Harris Horology of London via a Google search and contacted them. I was impressed by the speed of their response and the professional, efficient manner in which they initially assessed my watch and provided a quotation for its repair, which I accepted.
I am very happy with the service I received and the communications with James, which were always prompt and clear. The watch is working well and looks good with its new crystal.
